Applicants must be enrolled as a RISE Scholars high school student and accepted to college (2 yr or 4 yr) or, a RISE Scholars alumnae currently in college pursuing their first bachelor’s degree. An applicant must major in a public service field such as public administration, social work, political science, education, criminal justice, or nonprofit management at an accredited college or university. Demonstration of financial need and GPA will be considered.

RISE Scholars Disability Scholarship

Seniors must be enrolled in RISE Scholars and accepted to college (2 yr or 4 yr) or trade school.  Demonstration of financial need and GPA may be considered. Applicants must have a documented disability and be or pursuing an Associate’s Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree at an accredited college or university or enrolled in a recognized vocational/trade school.

Douglas and Sandy Larson Vet Scholarship

Applicants must be seniors or graduates of the RISE Scholars Program and must be accepted into their next school.
Applicants must be pursuing either a certificate program to become a veterinary technician or a 2- or 4-year degree in an accredited veterinary program.
Demonstration of financial need will be considered. There is no minimum GPA requirement.
Applicants must complete the application form and submit an essay discussing their perception of “The American Dream.”

This $1,500 scholarship is open to students who are enrolled or have completed the RISE Scholars program. To apply you must be enrolled in a federally or state-recognized tribe, or a descendent of an enrolled member. Applicants must be admitted to a college or accredited trade school.

Wings of Opportunity Scholarship

The scholarship awards $1,200 to students to pursue their dream of becoming licensed pilots.  Applicants must have passed their FAA Airman Knowledge Exam and be admitted to flight school. To be considered, submit an essay describing your story of how you became interested in aviation and outlining your goals after earning your first pilot’s license.

This $2,500 scholarship is designed to support individuals committed to serving others, leadership, and strengthening communities—the same principles that have guided our nation since 1776. Applicants must be seniors or high school graduates and accepted to college (2 year or 4 year) or accredited trade school. Demonstration of financial need and grade point average (GPA) will be considered.

Celeste’s living situation required that she work to help pay rent – in addition to going to school. Unfortunately, transportation was an issue. Through the Greatest Need Scholarship, Celeste received an electric bike that helped her get to work and school.
