This year will be especially meaningful as we honor Founder Liz Paulus and celebrate her retirement. Liz will symbolically “pass the torch” as we celebrate her incredible legacy and look ahead to the next chapter of College Bound AZ.
Every ticket, sponsorship, and auction bid helps provide scholarships and essential support for students pursuing college and career success.
With enrollment officially closed, we are excited to welcome a record-breaking 423 students into this year’s RISE Scholars program. We can’t wait to support them as they plan for life after graduation!

We’re excited to welcome Aubrey back to the College Bound AZ team as our new Financial Management Intern!
Aubrey previously worked with College Bound AZ through AmeriCorps and is now joining us through the Gila River Indian Community while pursuing her master’s degree at Arizona State University.
She’ll be with us three days a week helping organize the numbers, strengthen our financial systems, and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. She even will jump into action to help meet 1:1 with students.
We’re so happy to have Aubrey back—and very grateful to have someone willing to take on the spreadsheets!

Right here on EVIT’s campus, HopeTech provides housing and support for young adults who have experienced foster care or housing instability as they work toward education, employment, and independence.
One of our own RISE Scholars living at HopeTech recently discovered the College Bound AZ Food Pantry. She works, studies, and supports herself while building toward a brighter future with very limited resources. Receiving a take-home food bag each weekend has become one small but meaningful source of relief—helping stretch her budget a little further while ensuring she has food when the school week ends.
