Applicants must be enrolled as a RISE Scholars high school student and accepted to college (2 yr or 4 yr) or, a RISE Scholars alumnae currently in college pursuing their first bachelor’s degree. An applicant must major in a public service field such as public administration, social work, political science, education, criminal justice, or nonprofit management at an accredited college or university. Demonstration of financial need and GPA will be considered. | ||

Applicants must have a documented disability and be or pursuing an Associate’s Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree at an accredited college or university or enrolled in a recognized vocational/trade school. |

Celeste’s living situation required that she work to help pay rent – in addition to going to school. Unfortunately, transportation was an issue. Through the Greatest Need Scholarship, Celeste received an electric bike that helped her get to work and school.
