Along his journey to his bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics from Green River College, Washington, College Bound AZ was instrumental in finding ways to fund Eduardo’s education.  College Bound AZ connected Eduardo to Find a New Leaf’s Assets to Opportunity program for his associate degree. Scholarship Letters of Recommendation helped ensure funds for his final two years for his degree in Aeronautics. In 2019, Eduardo became the first in his family to complete a bachelor’s degree.

His goals did not stop there. Eduardo gained his private pilot’s license while attending college. He continued his flight training in pursuit of achieving his instrument rating, the step before a commercial pilot’s license. Eduardo conquered the challenge and received his commercial pilot’s license in 2023 to fly for a pipeline company in Texas. His pilot experience got him accepted into a cadet training program to complete his goal of flying for a major airline. He is the first in his family to complete college and to become a commercial pilot.
