Upon joining the RISE Scholars program, Kylie made it known she wanted to attend Harvard University to pursue her passion for advancing indigenous women’s issues.

“If you don’t think you can go to Harvard, you can. College Bound AZ helped me with making sure all my application requirements were submitted and they helped with a travel scholarship for one of my parents to visit the campus with me. I hope that my story encourages current and future students to take advantage of the same opportunity!”

In her first year at Harvard, Kylie received the Emerging Global Leader Award.
